                                                                                  Sean’s Notes

Adult team.  Our adult squad took a step closer to gaining a top four finishing position when they ran out comfortable winners in Smithboro on Sunday last. Played in very blustery conditions  our boys were in control from the throw in, and led at the break Eire Óg 0 -1 Seans 0 -8 the home side’s cause not helped when reduced to 14 men. The conditions left good football nigh on impossible, they did produce some nice passages that will have please manager Adrian Larkin particularly in the second half and in the end ran out winners on a score line of Eire Óg 0- 4 Seans 0 -15. Next Saturday evening the make the short journey to Aghabog for the penultimate round of the Junior Football League, a win here would almost certainly guarantee them a place in the knock out stage of this competition, but their hosts will as always make them work extremely hard to claim the two points that are at stake…  Throw in time 5.30pm.

Under 8/10  Coaching for Under 8’s and 10’s continues on Friday evening from 7.00pm to 8.00pm,with the seasons activities soon coming to an end  we hope to see everyone out at these remaining sessions..
