Seniors: The Seniors lost their Championship game on Saturday evening against Clontibret by 1-9 to 1-12. Juniors: Our C team suffered another narrow defeat at home on Sunday afternoon, this time to leaders Blackhill, going down by a point – 1-15 to 2-13. Scotstown team and scorers: Conor Forde; David Caulfield, Mattie McCague, Adrian Carbin; Emmet McCrudden (0-1), Barry McMeel, Ross McKenna; Damien F McKenna (0-1), Michael McCarville; Mark Treanor (0-2), Mark McKenna, Cian Mohan; Conor Caulfield (1-6), Nessan McCrudden (0-1), Paul Sherlock (0-4). Substitutes used: Shane Rice, Gerard McKenna. Scotstown have two games remaining in the JFL – at home to Éire Óg on Saturday week, September 21st; and away to Killanny a week later.
Minors: The Minors were knocked out of the Championship after a narrow defeat against Magheracloone in Carrickmacross last week – the final score was 2-13 to 2-12.
Under 14: The Under 14 season ended on Thursday last, when the boys were beaten by Clones/Currin 2-12 to 4-14 in the League Division One Shield semi-final.
Under 12: The A team were beaten by Magheracloone in the Division 1A Shield Final on Saturday last, 1-8 to 7-5. Development Draw: The Scotstown GAA Development Draw will take place on Sunday, October 27th.
