An under strength Aghabog travelled to Pairc Eanna on Sunday last in search of points but they were met with stern opposition who had a very comfortable win and putting us in second place on the league table with three games remaining and five teams looking for four positions for the semi finals. So its down to the last game and every player must remain focused.

A hat trick of goals by Stephen Crosby and an excellent all round performance by the panel made this game a complete miss match and put us safely through to the semi final of the championship with an very easy victory  over Seans played in Pairc Eanna on Tuesday last.

Missing three of our normal starters we had to call on the bench and they certainly stepped up to the mark with Adam Duffy, Mark Grimes and Jack Kierans all contributing nicely. This was a game where all 21 players did themselves proud and now find themselves meeting the winners of Donaghmoyne and St. Pats in the final at a date yet to be fixed..

Under 14 Semi final The Under 14 Football League Division 1 Cup Semi Final fixture is now confirmed to take place on Saturday 14th September at 12pm in Monaghan. This is a big ask of these young players as most of them can still play next year so plenty of support would be appreciated please.
