Junior Football Championship Semi Final: Last Sunday Emyvale faced Oram in the junior championship semi-final in Smithborough. Emyvale took an early lead before a late flurry from Oram put them in front before half time. In the second half however Emyvale got to grips with the game more and pushed on to win. Final Score Emyvale 1-15 Oram 0-08, well done to the lads on making this year’s junior final which will be against Blackhill.

U12 Shield Final: Pride and Place this week goes to Emyvale U12B team who brought home the Division 3B Shield on Saturday last, in a tense and very exciting final with Scotstown in Drumhowan.
The final score was Emyvale 3-04 to Scotstown 3-03. Emyvale scored great goals and kept the pressure on. When Scotstown scored a goal in the last few minutes leaving just one point in it, the last few seconds of the match saw the whole crowd holding their breath with the excitement!
This is the second year in a row our U12B team has won the Division 3B Shield. Huge congratulations to our U12B team, management and coaches. It is their commitment and hard work which has brought home the Shield again.
