Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on the 15^th September 2013.  Numbers Drawn were: 12-16-22-23.  Lucky Dip Winners: Michael Carville, Mullaghduff, Sinead Lynch, Annyalla, Brendan Harris, Coolartra, Laurence McCabe, C/o Cremartin Club and Martin Carragher, Moneyvolan.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

DRAW FOR ALL IRELAND FOOTBALL TICKETS

Your chance to go to the All Ireland Football Final of Mayo v Dublin for only €2!!  Cremartin Shamrocks are holding a raffle for tickets to this year’s All Ireland Football Final.  Simply purchase a line for €2 or 3 lines for €5 to be in with a chance to win these tickets.  Cards are available in our Social Centre or from any Committee Member.  Draw will take place tomorrow Friday 20^th September 2013 at 9.30 p.m. in the Clubrooms.

 

 

U-14 DIV 3 SHIELD WINNERS

Pride of place this week has to go to our victorious U-14 team who had a very convincing win against Clontibret in the Div 3 Shield Final last Saturday morning on a scoreline of Cremartin 11-15 Clontibret 9-09.  This team have put in great performances all year and played their hearts out on the day to run out very deserving winners.  Team: Logan McQuillan, Jordan Carville, Mark Brennan, Caolan Gorman, Stephen McNally (0-1), Jack Branigan (2-1), Jack Carragher (0-2), David Hanley (5-6), Dean Mooney (2-2), Jack Drumm (1-2), Caolan Carragher (0-2), Michael Cannon, Ryan Branigan and Declan McNally.  Management: Macartan Carroll, Maurice Branigan, Ronan Burke and Damien Lavelle.  Well done to all involved!!  Photos are now up on our facebook page and can be viewed on the Monaghan GAA web site under Gallery.  Anyone with any photos they wish to be included please email pro.cremartin.monaghan@gaa.ie.

 

 

Cremartin v Donaghmoyne

We travelled to Aughnamullen on Saturday evening last for the second round of the Intermediate Championship.  Result Cremartin 1-10 Donaghmoyne 1-13.  See Match Report.  Team and scores: Damien Lavelle, Liam Atkinson (0-1), Conor Mulligan, Patrick McGuigan, Kevin Atkinson, Declan Farrell, Kevin McVicar, Jonathan McGuigan (0-1), Shane Burke (1-1), Barry Carragher (0-1), Kevin Brennan (0-6), Shaun Buckley, Mark Magee, Niall Flanagan and Gary Boyd.  Subs: Ronan Burke, Darren Bishop and Declan Mulligan.

U-16 FINAL

Commiserations to our U-16 Team and Management who were unlucky to be defeated by the narrowest of margins last Thursday evening in Emyvale.  Final Score was Cremartin 1-10 Magheracloon 2-08.  Team and Scores: Darragh Duffy, Terry Kerr,  Shane Mulligan, Cathal Kerr, Barry Kerr (0- 2), Philip McGuigan, James Lavelle (0-1), John Leonard (0-1), Eanna Malone, Sean Duffy (0-2), Mark Brennan (1-1), David Hanley (0-3) and James Carville.  Subs: Stephen McNally, Conor McNally, Caolan Carragher, Hugh Branigan and Nathan McWilliams.  The Club would like to thank Pete McMahon, Super Valu, for donating the boys’ drinks/refreshments for during and after the game which were very much appreciated.

 

 

 

 

MINORS

Hard luck to our Minor Team and Management who were defeated by Donaghmoyne in the Semi Final last Sunday in Oram on a scoreline of Cremartin 0-06 Donaghmoyne 1-10.  Team and scores: Barry McEneaney, Terry Kerr,  Ryan Farrelly,  John Leonard, Barry Kerr,  Shane Mulligan, Mark Gormley,  Mark Magee (0-1), Vaidas Ruikis, Ciaran Hanley,  Kevin McVicar, Mark Brennan, James Lavelle (0-1), Aidan Kerr (0-3) and Ryan McVicar.  Subs: Cathal Kerr (0-1), Matthew Atkinson, Shane Carragher and Darragh Duffy.
