Up for the match:

A great night is expected tomorrow night Friday 13th September when we put on our UP FOR THE MATCH in the clubhouse starting @ 9. 30. Guests will include twice All Ireland winning manager John O’Mahony a proud Mayo man no doubt looking forward to the final. Former Armagh captain and regular pundit with the BBC and TnG Jarlath Burns will also be in attendance. Members of the Monaghan team along with the Anglo Celt will be mingling with the crowd, some of the Monaghan ladies team who have reached this years All Ireland final on the 29th September will also be there. Asking the questions on the night will be Killeevan Sarsfields man J.P.Graham, proceeds going towards cancer research and it should be a good night of ceol agus craic. All welcome.

U16 Final: Hard luck to the Aghabog/Currin Team who lost out to Doohamlet by a single point in a thrilling league final last Saturday in Aughnamullen. While this was a disappointing result, these lads have had a fantastic year winning the Championship and coming so close to completing the double. The team and management deserve enormous credit for their effort and the excitement they have generated over the year.
