The Under 10 Go Games Blitzes for August took place on Saturday last 24th August. In all there were 4 blitzes that took place throughout the county on Saturday. The 4 host venue’s where

 

• Killanny –  Aughnamullan, Donaghmoyne, Inniskeen and Magheracloone participated in this blitz.
• Carrickmacross – Latton,  Monaghan Harps, Castleblayney, Cremartin and  Corduff participated in this blitz.
• Currin –  Killeevan, Aghabog,  Tyholland, Eire Og, Seans and Rockcorry participated in this blitz.
• Clontibret –  Truagh, Emyvale, Doohamlet, Ballybay, Clones, Scotstown and Drumhowan participated in this blitz.

 

Overall 26 clubs took part in the blitzes, 400 children took part in playing in the blitzes.

 

There was a very good turnout of clubs for these blitzes, considering it is a very busy period for holidays.

 

We would like to thank the host clubs for the use of their facilities, organising fixtures, setting up of pitches and providing refreshments for after the blitz.

We would also like to thank the  clubs that took part in the blitzes, also a big thank you to the referee’s, who done an excellent job of referring the games.

 

Next Blitz: Double Blitz; Under 8’s and Under 10’s on Saturday 7^th September. Host co-ordinators will be in contact with all clubs.
