 Lotto. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto this weekend were 6, 23, 27 and 28. The jackpot was not won and the four winners of the Lucky Dip were Attracta Archibold, Shercock, Anna Jones, Magheracloone, Jack, Jamie and Sean O Hara, Carrickmacross and Rachel Brennan, Corduff. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday 8th July and the Jackpot will be 2,700 euro.

July Meeting.  The monthly meeting for July will be held in the club rooms on Tuesday evening, 9th at 8.30. All members are welcome to attend.

Congratulations to the minor and senior players from the club for the part that they played in the double victories in Clones at the weekend. The club members are now looking forward to the Ulster finals on July 21st and wish Paul McArdle, Michael Metzger, Tommy Freeman and Gavin  Doogan all the best for the big matches.

Pitch Development. The chairman of Magheracloone G.F.C., Bernard Freeman, is delighted to announce that the main playing pitch has now been closed and work is due to begin next week (weather permitting) on upgrading the main playing pitch at the club grounds at Knocknacran.

The field will be closed until Spring 2015 and when all works are completed there will be a new sand- based All-Weather Prunty Pitch, new spectator fencing, new ball-stops and new goal posts erected. The total cost will be about €180K.

The club will post photos and progress reports on the club website and/or the clubs facebook page when works commence so members far and near can keep up to date with progress and see the new Prunty Pitch materialize from the comfort of their homes.

Fixtures. The pause in senior league and championship continues while the county team prepare for the Ulster final.  However the Under 16 competitions continue and this team will face Truagh in the Championship this Sunday at 7.00. p.m. The venue for this game is Truagh.

A League game follows on Thursday 11th with a trip to Killanny for a 7.30 throw-in.

Meanwhile the Under 12 competition continues on this Saturday when Castleblayney are the visitors to Magheracloone. This game is due to throw in at 12.00 noon.

Ulster Final Tickets.  Club members who wish to purchase tickets for the Ulster finals may do so by contacting the club secretary before twelve noon on Wednesday 10th July.  A number of tickets are also available for sale at O’Gormans’ Supervalu in Carrickmacross. The tickets are priced as follows: Gerry Arthurs Stand…Adults..27 euro…Senior Citizens…15 euro and Under 16…5 euro (must be accompanied by an adult.) The tickets for the Pat McGrane and East Stands are priced as follows…Adult…25 euro…Senior Citizens….15 euro and Under 16….5 euro. The Terrace tickets are priced at 15 euro for an adult, 10 euro for a Senior Citizen and 5 euro for Under 16. A number of family tickets are also available.
