U16’s: We wish our U16 team the very best of luck tonight as they play Aghabog in the Under 16 Championship final. This team has put in some very impressive displays all season and lets hope they are rewarded tonight.
Minors: Our Minor team resumed action on Tuesday last with a comprehensive victory over Killeevan.
Ulster Championship Finals: After Monaghan Ladies impressive victory last weekend it is another massive weekend for Monaghan football as both our Minor and Senior teams play in Ulster Finals on Sunday in Clones. Barry McGinn is part of the Minor panel who play Tyrone at 2pm while Colin Walshe will line out for the Senior team against Donegal at 4pm. We wish Colin and Barry and their respective teams and management all the very best and hope to enjoy celebrations on Sunday evening.
O’Neill Park: With all the good weather and no games recently O’Neill Park has never been in better condition. The playing surface is immaculate and special praise to Eamon Coleman who has been cutting the grass regularly and operating the sprinklers. All this work has the playing field and training fields in top class condition.
Sympathy: Our club wish to convey our deepest sympathy to Sharon and Rory McManus on the sudden passing of Sharon’s mother Eileen Treanor, Mullaloughan, Glaslough recently.
Lorcan Duffy Cup: Its only a week to go until our Inter Club Golf Classic in Rossmore Golf Club. All clubs have now been invited to compete for the Lorcan Duffy Cup and indeed anyone can enter a team of 4 at €120 and play 18 holes.
Remember next Friday 26th July at Rossmore Golf Club Monaghan.
