Minors:

Minors returned to action last Tuesday evening as they took on Cuchulains Sarsfields at home in Donaghmoyne. See nexts weeks club notes and official results for the match result.

U16s:

This Thursday evening our U16 panel take on Clontibret at home in the league. Throw in for that one is at 7.30 in Pairc Fontenoy.

U14s:

This  Saturday morning the U14 side return to action as they take on Ballybay in Donaghmoyne. Throw in is at 12 o clock.`z

U12s:

Last Saturday morning the B team travelled to Rockcorry for their final league game. This game was played in excellent, hot, sunny conditions. In the hot weather the lads had to move the ball fast to try save energy and in doing so they produced a brilliant display of football, which led to them running out comprehensive winners. The lads have finished top of their division which means they have qualified for the final. Well done to all so far, keep up the good work.

Mini Fontenoys:

The minis training continues Saturday at 11 in Donaghmoyne. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Cost is €2 per family. Also any parents willing to get involved in coaching are more than welcome.

 

Congratulations:

The club would like to congratulate both the Monaghan Senior and Minor Footballers and Management on their historic victories in the Ulster Finals last weekend but especially to our own club players, Mikey Murnaghan and Ciaran Martin with the Minors, and also Padraig Donaghy with the Seniors, all of which gave brilliant performances on the day and were a massive part of each sides success. VHI GAA Cul Camps:

This summer see’s the return of the VHI GAA Cul Camps to Donaghmoyne. The camp runs from the week beginning Monday July 29^th to Friday August the 2^nd. The cost of Camps are as follows: 1st child 55euro, 2nd child 45euro, 3rd child 40euro each, & 35euro if a child wants to attend another camp (without gear). All Camps cater for 5 to 13 year old boys/girls and they promise to be a great week of fun for all kids to enjoy while picking up all the skills needed for Gaelic football and hurling.
