Minors:

Minor training continues Monday evening at 7pm. With games starting back soon full attendance at training is needed from here on in.

U16s:

Last Sunday evening saw our U16 panel faced Seans away in the first round of the championship. On Thursday evening the lads return to action as they face Monaghan Harps. See official fixtures for venue and time.

U12s:

The U12s A team and B team, had their fourth games in the league last weekend. On Saturday  the B team took on Tyholland away from home. This was a tight encounter throughout with both teams battling hard to get a result. A few vital scores in the 2nd half from Donaghmoyne was the slight edge needed to take the win, a good result for the team.

Also on Saturday morning the A team faced neighbours Aughnamullen away from home. Unfortunately they weren’t so lucky on the day and were beaten by a decent Aughnamullen side. This week both teams return to action. On Tuesday evening the A team took on Killany at home. Then on Saturday the A team face Currin/Clones at home at 1.15 and before that the B team take on Fergal O Hanlons at 12.

Mini Fontenoys:

The minis training continues Saturday at 11 in Donaghmoyne. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Cost is €2 per family. Also any parents willing to get involved in coaching are more than welcome.

Congratulations:

Last weekend see’s both the Monaghan Minors and Seniors take the field in Ulster semi finals as they both faced Cavan respectively. We would like to congratulate both teams and management on these magnificent wins but more importantly to all our club players that represented them on the day, Mikey, Ciaran and Shane with the minors and Padraig Donaghy with the seniors. Both teams will now play in the Ulster Final in Clones on July 21st.
