Senior Football

Owing to Monaghan being in the Ulster finals the July fixtures are sparce. Fixtures can be had on the Monaghan website. We played Rockcorry last weekend in a challenge. More news at training, which continues, as usual.

Reserve Senior football

Saturday 20th July is officially our next fixture in the Reserve football league division 3, against Aghabog in Scotshouse at 7.45 pm.

Youth Affairs

Summer camps

The ‘Cul’ summer camps are in full swing and many of our youngsters are participating, no better way to spend their time.

U-12’s:-

The U 12’s played away in Killevan last night, and are due to play away again in Division 1 in Magheracloone on Saturday at 12.00. Please show your support.

U-16’s

On Sunday morning last Currin / Aghabog played Tyholland in the semi final and progressed to the final on a score line of 10-10 to 5-8. This was a great result for all concerned. The final is fixed for Thursday 18th July in Aghabog at 6.30pm. Niall, Enda and the lads deserve your support in this final.

Development Committee.

At our recent club meeting, the development committee unveiled the plans for the refurbishment, re-designing and upgrading of our dressing room complex. Two options are to be considered. Well done to Austin and Declan for their work so far. A public advertisement is in the current edition of this newspaper inviting builders to express an interest in doing this work. All relevant details are in the advertisement. Please tell anyone you might know who would be interested in this work to reply to the ad. We want to be sure that all interested parties are made aware of the project.

Inter County Football

Flags are flying, signs are up, and while we are gearing up to the men’s football finals in two weeks, let us not forget that our ladies are in the final on Sunday next against Tyrone in Celtic Park, Derry at 15.45. The Currin club wish our representatives, Ellen and Laura the best of luck.

The Juvenile section of the Club, currently have lines for sale for Prizes which include 2 tickets to the Ulster final. Please support, lines are only €2 each, 3 for a fiver.
