Carrickmacross were worthy winners of the 7 a side U15 Football Blitz held in Cloghan on Saturday 20th July. In what proved to be a very competitive blitz with 9 teams competing Carrick beat Scotstown comfortably in the Final. Scotstown who had just piped Corduff in a entertaining game in the last round of the group stages to get into the final.  Monaghan Coaching & Games Committee & Coaching staff would like to thank all the clubs, mentors & players for taking part in the blitz. In addition they would like to thank referee’s for their assistance during the blitz. Carrick now go onto represent Monaghan in the Ulster Og U15 blitz in September, they also receive a set of Juvenile goals for winning the competition.
