Seniors: The Seniors played Tyholland in the league on Wednesday last check result elsewhere for details.
Junior B: The Reserves suffered their first defeat of the year when they were beaten by Blayney last Friday last. This was a poor performance on the night and major improvement must be made if we are going to win the league which will be held in a few weeks.  Anyway on to the game Blayney started very well and ran into a 6 point lead but we came to reduce the arrears but a goal well taken goal before half time left them well in front at half time.  Into the second half we came back more into the game and performance improved and reduced the deficit to 2 points at the finish but the Faughs held firm and ran out worthy winners on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-08.  Team v Blayney Gary Mulligan, Alan Sheridan, Colin Fox, Niall Keenan, Eoin Sheridan, Paul Connolly, James Keenan, Thomas Hughes, Clayton Wilson, Patrick Sheridan, Colin Clerkin, Stephen Deery, Damien Duffy, Brendan Finnegan, Mark Meegan, Subs Thomas Meegan, Mark Mc Ardle & Declan McGeough. Anyone wanting to Order a Dvd of the Junuior B Final contact Angie on 0861012243
Minors: Our Cuchulains played away to Donaghmoyne on Tuesday week last. They remain unbeaten in the league where they had a hard earned victory. They remained ahead through tout the game. With a 9 point lead a penalty taken the score down followed by a another goal for Donaghmoyne ending with on a scoreline of Aughnamullen 2-13 to Donaghmoyne 2-10. They now finish the league in top spot and have no more fixtures for a few more weeks. Wishing out team mate SeanMc Mahon the best of Luck in the All Ireland Quarter Final this Monday in Longford against Tipperary at 3pm.
U16’s: Played Away to Killeeven on Thursday last. Despite the bad weather conditions. Aughnamullen kept up a fighting score against a strong Killeeven team. With only a 2point lead in the 1st half made our boys hungry to keep the score line up to the end finishing on a scoreline of aughnamullen 3-13 Killeeven 2-11. Our boys are on top of the league table with 18points with 2 games remaining.
