Circuit Training: taking place in the community centre on every Mon & Thu night from 8.30 til 9.30, all ages, fitness levels, male and female, €5 pp. Everyone welcome.

Club Membership: is €40 for an adult, €20 for students, and €60 for a family and €30 for a single-parent family. Membership in the form of Club Toome is also available. Please get in touch with any committee member for further details.

Gum Shields: It is mandatory for all players up and to including minors to wear gum shields at training and in games. As there are insurance issues involved it will not be possible to allow players to train or play without the gum shields. The regulations will be introduced for adult competitions in 2014.

Dancing Classes for all age groups in the styles of Modern, Line, Salsa, Hip-Hop, Funky, Waltz, Irish and many more. Classes are on a Tuesday night from 7pm-8pm in Toome Community Centre. Everybody Welcome.

The late Paddy Buggy: The former President of the GAA (1982-85), who passed on at the week end, had a special relationship with the Toome GAA Club. He cut the first sod on the present pitch in 1983, and the occasion was marked with a presentation to him of a copy of “The Monaghan Story” by Fr. Peadar Livingstone, by the then club chairman, the late Brian Ruddy. He expressed a wish that he would be privileged to perform the Official Opening –this came to pass in June, 1996. Ar dheis De go raibh a ainm dilish.

Good Luck:  to our Seniors in their first round of the Junior Championship! The game takes place against Sean McDermotts in Drumhowan at 19.30 this Friday the 24th May.

Clothing, Mobile Phones and Books Collection: will take place in Toome. Anyone interested in leaving bags of old clothing, old mobile phones and books (not school books) please do so by leaving them at the centre by May 24th.

Congratulations: to Shauna McGinn and Kevin McCabe on their recent marriage. We wish the new Mr and Mrs McCabe a long and very happy life together. Enjoy the honeymoon!
