On Thursday, Monaghan Coaching and Games Development held a Secondary School Hurling Blitz/Coaching day in Cloghan. Two schools availed of this coaching day, St Macartans and Our Ladys Castleblayney. Overall 48 students took part, 18 girls and 30 boys.  All other schools were invited but, due to lack of interest and a clash with other events, did not attend.

Pauric Dowdall and Brid Treanor from Monaghan Coaching and Games Development staff were the coaches on the day.  Ger Gribben, Regional Development Officer with the Camogie Association was with us and he helped Pauric and Brid to deliver a very enjoyable coaching session.

A big thank you to the schools that took part, also to the coaches and Cloghan for the use of their facilities.
