The second of the Under 10 Go Games Blitzes took place on Saturday last 18th May. In all there were 4 blitzes that took place throughout the county on Saturday. The 4 host venue’s where

• Latton –  Carrickmacross, Donaghmoyne and Killanny participated in this blitz.
• Toome – Ballybay, Castleblayney and Inniskeen participated in this blitz.
• Rockcorry – Drumhowan, Tyholland, Clones and Currin participated in this blitz.
• Aghabog –  Aughnamullan, Doohamlet and Corduff participated in this blitz.
• Eire Og blitz was rearranged for Saturday 1^st June, due to communion.
• Monaghan Harps blitz was rearranged for Thursday 23^rd May, due to communion.

Overall 17 clubs took part in the blitzes, 310 children took part in playing in the blitzes.

We would like to thank the host clubs for the use of their facilities, organising fixtures, setting up of pitches and providing refreshments for after the blitz.

We would also like to thank the  clubs that took part in the blitzes, also a big thank you to the referee’s, who done an excellent job of referring the games.

Next Blitz: Under 8’s on Saturday 25th May. Host co-ordinators will be in contact with all clubs.

Monaghan Harps will host a double blitz (U8 and U10 together) on Thursday 23^rd May.
