On Wednesday evening a feast of underage hurling took place at Cloghan in the first, Handcraft Hurleys Under 14 Hurling League Finals which involved hurling clubs from the three neighbouring counties of Monaghan, Cavan and Fermanagh.

The finals were organised by Paul Divilly of the Ulster Council and the leagues were sponsored by Hancraft Hurleys.

Monaghan’s finalists were, Castleblayney Hurling Club, Carrickmacross Hurling Club and Inniskeen Grattans.

Cavan’s finalists were, Ballymachugh, Mullahoran, East Cavan Gaels, Cootehill Celtic and Annalee.

Fermanagh’s finalists were St. Patricks Lisbellaw  and Knocks Grattans.
