CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES 23.05.13
Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on the 19th May 2013. Numbers Drawn were: 9-13-25-26. Lucky Dip Winners: Vincent O’Neill, Drumgriston, Oisin Duffy, C/o Christopher Carragher, Ryan Branigan, Lismagunshion, Deaglan Deery, C/o Scotch Corner, and Vourneen McBennett, Annagh. The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Fixtures
Intermediate League: We are at home against Inniskeen on Wednesday 12th June at 8.00 p.m.
Reserve League: We are at home against Ballybay this Sunday 26th May at 2.00 p.m.
U-16 League: We are away to Truagh this evening Thursday 23rd May at 7.30 p.m.
U-14 Championship: We are away to Toome on Tuesday 28th May at 7.30 p.m.
U-14 League: We are at home against Eire Óg on Friday 24th May at 7.30 p.m.

Cremartin v Clones
We travelled to Clones last week for round 6 of the league. A poor first half left us down 0.7 to 0.2 at half time. A goal from Darren Bishop five minutes into the second half got us off to a great start and we proceeded to build from there and with great team work and determination we ran out the eventual winners on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-10 Clones 0-12. Team and scores: Damien Lavelle, Declan Farrell, Niall Flanagan (0-1), Fergal Mulligan, Kevin Atkinson (0-2), Patrick McGuigan, Kevin McVicar (0-1), Shane Burke (0-1), Jonathan McGuigan, Patrick McNally, Peter McMahon (0-1), Kevin Brennan (0-1), Shaun Buckley, Darren Bishop (1-1) and Cathal Atkinson. Subs: Barry Carragher (0-1) and Josh McWilliams (0-1).
Cremartin v Aughnamullen
We continued our league campaign with a win over Aughnamullen last Sunday on a scoreline of Cremartin 0-13 Aughnamullen 0-09. See Match Report elsewhere. Team and scores: Damien Lavelle, Shaun Buckley, Niall Flanagan (0-1), Kevin McVicer (0-1), Paddy McGuigan (0-1), Kevin Atkinson, Declan Mulligan, Shane Burke (0-6), Johnny McGuigan (0-1), Josh McWiliams, Darren Bishop, Peter McMahon, Kevin Brennan (0-1), Cathal Atkinson and Stephen Bishop (0-1). Congratulations: to the U10 Community Games team who won their County Final against Donaghmoyne on Monday evening last on a scoreline of 2-08 to 1-09. Well done to all the team, managers and all involved and best of luck going forward in Ulster!!
The Gathering
In conjunction with the year of the Gathering we are welcoming back to Cremartin GAA Club the great former players from our most successful years gone by, the legends of Cremartin GAA, for what promises to be a night of great craic, music and entertainment. This is not a night to be missed……more details coming soon!

Monaghan v Antrim – Ulster Championship
We are organising a Supporter’s bus to Casement Park leaving Cremartin Club on Sunday 9th June for the Ulster Championship game against Antrim. If anyone is interested please contact Michael McGuigan on 086 8169275.
There will be a BBQ in the Club after the game. All welcome.
Good Luck: to the Monaghan Minor Team v Antrim in the Ulster Minor Championship Quarter Final this Sunday 26th May at 7.00 p.m. in Pairc Elser.
CPR & AED Refresher evening in Cremartin Hall on Thursday the 30th May for all those already trained. Please come anytime between 7.30pm and 9.00 pm. It will only take 15 minutes.
High Intensity Circuit Classes: Wednesday 29th May (for men and women) in Cremartin Complex from 7.15 p.m.
