Results:

JFL: Sean McDermott’s 1-10 Aghabog 1-10

We came away from Threemilehouse with a hard earned point last Sunday. Losing by four points at half-time, we worked hard to get ourselves into a two point lead going entering the final minutes of the game. The Sean’s however struck a last minute point to ensure it was a case of honours even.

Fixtures:
RFL Div 3:
Aghabog v Monaghan Harps on Sat 25th May at 7pm in Aghabog.
JFL:
Aghabog v Oram on Wed 29th May at 8pm in Aghabog

Best wishes: Unfortunately last Sunday’s result came at a high price with Shane O’Brien suffering a broken collarbone in the opening minutes of the game. Shane Dolan and Sean O’Brien also sustained injuries during the game. We wish the three lads a speedy recovery and hope to see them back in action as soon as possible.

U16 Result: Doohamlet 5-10 Aghabog 2-12

Hard luck to the boys who lost out awat to a strong Doohamlet team last Monday.

U14 Result: Tyholland 0-02 Aghabog 3-20

Well done to the U14 team who had a good win last Saturday against Tyholland.

Congratulations: And best wishes to Michael Lawson who will compete in the Star Factor All Ireland Final in the Fairways Hotel, Dundalk on Sunday June 2nd. Michael staved off talented competitors to get to the finals and we have no doubt he will do us proud on the day. All local support will be greatly appreciated.
