Camogie Notes
The Senior team had their first outing in the county league against Castleblayney last Sunday.

Although the result did not go Inniskeen’s way it was a good performance at this early stage in the year given the number of players on the injured list.

Our participation in the Louth senior league commences this week with an away match to St. Kevins.

This is followed on Tues 16th with a home, county league match against Clontibret. Players will be notified of details by text.

Training continues every week and any new or past players interested in coming along is more than welcome. A big welcome back to Olivia B, great to see Olivia back in the red and green.

The underage season begins next week and starts off with U8 & U10 training on Tues 16th, 7 – 7.45pm in Pairc Grattan.

Parents are asked to stay at the pitch for the duration of training.

This year, we have entered our U12 and U14 teams in the Louth league. The U12s will play a number of blitzes before the competition begins.

The first of these blitzes takes place next week in St Brides, Knockbridge. Parents will receive a text with details.

Our U14s begin their Louth campaign with an away match against Cooley on May 2nd. Training starts next week and parents will be notified by text.  This is a great opportunity for our underage camÓgs to play competitively and we hope as many parents as possible will come along to support the teams.

The Camogie county board held their fundraising table quiz last Friday in Blackhill. Well done to the Inniskeen teams who attended and to Bernie, Pat, Ciarán and Darragh who finished in 3rd place.

The club would like to extend its congratulations to Isabel and Ciarán on their recent engagement
