Seniors:

Our Seniors took on Cremartin away from home last Saturday evening in the next round of the Intermediate Football League. This was a tight game throughout but Donaghmoyne gave a very good performance and ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-10. Their next match is next Wednesday evening away to Currin. See the official fixtures for times.

U21s:

See fixtures and notes for upcoming matches.

Minors:

Minors made the trip to Clontibret on Sunday evening for their third game in the league. Donaghmoyne started off very strong on the day and were dominant for the majority of the game but Clontibret came back strong. Yet the lads held on for a narrow 1 point win to make it three wins from three and leave them top of the league. Good start to the year.

U16s:

The U16 panel traveled to Monaghan last Thursday evening to take on the Harps in the league. The game was played in terrible conditions which made it very difficult for football. Yet our lads played adapted to the conditions and ran out worthy winners on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-8. That makes it three wins from three and leaves them top of the league.

U14s:

U14s started off their season with a league opener away to Fergal O Hanlons last Saturday morning. This was a tough encounter but our lads came out narrow victors to give them a perfect start to the year.

U12s:

Both U12 teams, the 11 a side and 9 a side teams had their third matches in the Spring league competition on Tuesday evening as both teams faced Latton. See next weeks notes for the result.

Mini Fontenoys:

The minis training continues Thursday at 6.30 in Donaghmoyne. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Players will be told details at training on Thursday.

Best Of Luck:
