CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES 02.05.13

Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on the 28th April 2013.  Numbers Drawn were: 1-3-16-20.  Lucky Dip Winners: Katie Coleman, Monaghan Rd, Mairead Tomany, Croghan, Paula McQuillan C/o Christopher Carragher, Ann Mulligan, Tasson and Tanya Farrell, Cremartin.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

CAIRDE CREMARTIN – EARLY BIRD OFFER

Fixtures

Intermediate League: We are away to Clones on Wednesday 8th May at 7.45 p.m.

Reserve O’Duffy Cup: We are at home against Scotstown in the Championship this Friday at 7.15 p.m.  Please give your support!!

Minor League: We are at home against Sean McDermotts on Tuesday 7th May at 7.30.p.m.

U-16 League: We are away to Corduff this evening 2nd May 2013 at 7.00 p.m. followed by a home game against Emyvale on Thursday 9th May at 7.30 p.m.

U-14 League: We are at home against Latton this Saturday at 12.00 noon.

Reserves

We welcomed Truagh to Shamrock Park on Sunday afternoon last.  Despite leading by three points at half time, a late goal in injury time for Truagh resulted in the sides ending up all square on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-12 Truagh 2-09.  Team and scores: Simon Atkinson, Shane Mulligan, Conor Mulligan, Ryan Carragher, Josh McWilliams, Kevin Atkinson, Kevin McVicar (0-1), Fergal Muligan, Cathal Atkinson (0-1), Patrick McNally (0-4), Stephen Bishop (1-1), Philip Markey, Liam Atkinson (0-1), Martin McNally (0-3) and John Tomany (0-1).

 

Under 8’s Blitz

Our first Under 8’s Blitz was has held in Castleblayney on Saturday morning last.  All children had a great morning’s football and they are already showing great potential for our club’s future.  Well done all!

 

Club Meeting: next Tuesday 7th May at 9.00 p.m.  Could all Officers please attend.

 

The Gathering

In conjunction with the year of the Gathering we are welcoming back to Cremartin GAA Club the great former players from our most successful years gone by, the legends of Cremartin GAA, for what promises to be a night of great craic, music and entertainment.  This is not a night to be missed……more details coming soon!

 

Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Sinead McEneaney and Donal Duffy who got married last weekend!

 

Congratulations to Mark Magee and the County Minor Team and Management on winning the Ulster Minor League Final last Saturday.

Congratulations to the County Monaghan Senior Team and Management on winning the Allianz National Football League Division 3 Final last weekend!  Well done to all involved!!

 

Get well soon to James Lavelle who was injured whilst playing recently.  Hope to see you back in action soon James!!
