Clontibret went top of the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division 1A with a comprehensive win over Latton on Saturday, while Magheracloone edged out Monaghan Harps to go second and Scotstown got their first win by easing past Castleblayney. Cremartin beat Tyholland to join Truagh (whose game against Ballybay was postponed) at the top of Division 1B, while Drumhowan pipped Doohamlet.

Donaghmoyne’s hammering of Killeevan left them still out in front in Division 2A, followed in second and third place by Emyvale and Inniskeen, who beat Corduff and Carrickmacross respectively. Division 2B leaders Aughnamullen were held to a draw by Rockcorry, while Oram got the better of Truagh. Killanny conceded to Clones in Division 3.

Silver Hill Foods

Castleblayney fell to a heavy defeat at home to Cootehill in the Silver Hill Foods Minor Hurling League on Sunday, while the game between Clontibret and Carrickmacross was postponed.

Truagh have two wins from two in the GRM Minor Football League Division One after they saw off neighbours Emyvale on Tuesday, while Scotstown got off the mark when they eased past Magheracloone. The game between Monaghan Harps and Carrickmacross was postponed.

Clontibret put Castleblayney to the sword in the McElvaney Recycling Under-21 Football League Division One on Wednesday, while Latton got a walkover from St. Patrick’s. Magheracloone beat Aughnamullen in Division Two, with Donaghmoyne conceding to Monaghan Harps.
