St. Patrick’s Night: Our traditional session on St. Patrick’s night was a huge success! A massive thank you to all our local musicians, plus our regulars from Corcaghan and Monaghan C.C.É. branches, who continue to turn out in force.

In addition to the excellent music throughout the night, our Scór na nOg céile dancers came together to put on a terrific performance, followed by some lovely lively solo dancing. And again, throughout the night, we were treated to some wonderful solo singing.

It’s such a confidence booster, performing either as an individual, or as part of a group. Plus, it’s so heartening to see the strong friendships being forged, all through the love of music, song and dance.

A very attentive and appreciative crowd turned out, to enjoy the night’s entertainment. This again is very much appreciated, thank you to all for making this a night to remember! And last but not least, thank you to Paula, Margot, Anne and Patricia, for providing tea, sandwiches & tasty treats!

With the céile dancing classes up and running once again, we look forward to many more nights like this, knowing we have so many talented dancers and singers in our midst. Not forgetting our language! If anyone is interested in attending an Irish language conversational class, or perhaps conducting our cultural night through Irish, please contact 087 6481122.

So remember to keep the 2nd Friday free, next session takes place on Friday 12th April. We look forward to seeing you all there. Refreshments served. Everyone welcome!
