Fixtures: The Under 21 game against Castleblayney on Saturday was cancelled, as was Minor game against Emyvale on Tuesday. The Senior League starts this Saturday, March 30th with a home fixture against Clontibret throwing in at 5pm. The Junior team are in action the following day, Sunday in their first league game away to Seán MacDermott’s at 4pm.
Ciste: The March draw took place on Saturday night, and the winners were: €700 – Donal Connolly, Milltown; €300 – Conor O’Neill, Bough; €100 – Eilish Treanor, Knockcor; €100 – John Moyna, Knockatallon; €100 – Kathleen Mohan, Carrachor; €100 – Eddie Sherry, Clarna; €100 – Marie McKenna, Drumdesco; €100 – Joe McCarron, Monaghan. Sellers Prizes: €30 Niall O’Lamhna & €30 Paddy Sherry. The next draw will be on Saturday 27th April.
Scotstown GAA draw: Tickets for the Scotstown GAA development draw are available online and from committee members priced at €20 each, or three for €50. The draw itself will take place in August.
Under 14: The Division One (13-a-side) team had their game away to Truagh postponed on Saturday due to the weather. It has been rescheduled for Thursday evening, 28th of March at 6pm at St. Mellan’s.
Easter Camps: The camps take place on April 2nd, 3rd and 4th at Kilmore from 10:30am to 2:30pm each day. They are for boys and girls aged 5-12 years old, and will feature Gaelic football, hurling and camogie. The fee is €40 for the first child, and €35 for additional children from the same family. Club Membership: The deadline for Club membership fees is fast approaching – please pay same to Registrar Frankie McCarey as soon as possible. €30 for adults, €10 for juveniles.
The Ned Run: The 2013 Ned Run will take place on Saturday, August 10th. Plenty of time to get training!
