Calling all Cremartin Shamrocks Gaels
Be there or be virtually there….
In conjunction with the year of the gathering we are asking all of the friends and family of Cremartin Shamrocks GAA from all over the world to be in Cremartin GAA Complex on Easter Sunday 31st March 2013. We are organising an action packed day of activity and celebrations as we will be showcasing the very best of Irish culture, tradition, and of course sport, in a truly unique Irish way. Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on the 17th March 2013. Numbers Drawn were: 10-13-14-21 . Lucky Dip Winners: Ryan Branigan, Lismagunshion, Briege McKernan, Moy, Clontibret, John Martin, C/o Seamus Brady, Aidan Brady, Clarderry and Shaun Buckley, Annyalla. The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

IMPORTANT – MEMBERSHIP MUST BE PAID BEFORE 31ST MARCH 2013
In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GAA Club requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2013. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season. Fees are Adults – €30, Juveniles – €15, Students – €15 and for a family (family = two adults and any children under 18) – €60.
Following a motion passed at the Convention please note that no tickets will be ordered for non-members for any games this year so it of the upmost importance that membership is paid in time. Anyone wanting to pay their membership can do so by contacting our Club Registrar Seamus Eccles.
Fixtures
Intermediate League: We play Currin at home in the first round of the league on Sunday 31st March next at 2.00 p.m.
Reserve League: We are at home against Doohamlet on Wednesday 3rd April at 7.00 p.m.
Minor League: We are away to St. Patricks in Drumhowan on 2nd April at 7.00 p.m.
U-16 League: We are away to Corduff on 2nd May 2013 at 7.00 p.m.
U-14 League: We are away to Clontibret on 23rd March 2013 at 12.00 noon.
U-12 League: We are away to Ballybay on 30th March 2013 at 12.00 noon.

Reserve League
We travelled to Ballybay last Saturday afternoon and came away with our first win of the year on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-10 Ballybay 1-08. Team and scores: Simon Atkinson, Shane Mulligan, Liam Atkinson, Ryan Carragher, Fergal Mulligan (0-2), Conor Mulligan, Josh McWilliams (1-2), Cathal Atkinson, Ronan Burke, Eanna Atkinson, Kevin Atkinson (0-2), Philip Markey, Peter McMahon, Martin McNally (0-1) and John Tomany (0-3).
Main Playing Field

The main playing field will remained close for the month of March. Please consult with the Chairman Brendan McNally for other training arrangements.

Interviews for Gaeltacht Scholarships: to Coláiste Bhríde, Rann Na Feirste will be held in GAA Administration Office Cloghan on Saturday 20th April 2013. Interviews for students who are pre Junior Cert will start at 10am, while interviews for post Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students will begin at 11.30am. No pre booking is required.
