Sympathy We extend our sincerest sympathy to Nan Mc Carney and the McCarney family circle on the death of Nan’s brother Gerry in Luton England. Formerly from Aughnamallagh Gerry play underage football with the Threemilehouse club and was a member of the 1956 Muintir Na Tire cup winning side, a photograph of that team appears in The Replay. As with many of his generation forced to emigrate he never lost his association with his native heath, just recently I understand viewing The Rewind (Our club history) with pleasure and pride at development on the GAA front in the parish of his birth. Go ndeana Dia trocaire ar a anam.
