Lotto. The numbers drawn on Monday 4th January were 7, 9, 14 and 16. The Jackpot was not won and the following four players claimed fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip……Kealan and Caroline Hand, Noreen Farrelly, Paul Matthews and Noel Owens.
The next draw will be held on Monday 11th February in the clubrooms and the jackpot will be 7,800 euro.
Presentation Night. Armagh star, Oisin McConville, will be in Magheracloone Community Centre on this Friday evening to present medals to the successful under age teams of 2012. The proceedings get under way at 7.30 p.m.
Gala Dinner and Presentation. The chairman and executive wish to thank all those who attended the dinner and presentation dance on Friday last. He thanks, in particular, all those players and club supporters for making the fund-raising raffle and auction such a resounding success.
All the proceeds from this event will help in the development of 21st century facilities at the club grounds and the success of this event provides the perfect impetus to the club executive as it looks to progress the necessary work.
Coaching Courses. Monaghan Coaching Committee have organised a series of coaching evenings for all club coaches. Attendance is free of charge and all courses are held at Cloghan. The theme for the remaining session is Games to Develop Football (Wednesday 13th February). The course runs from 7.30 to 9.00 and further information can be got from the club secretary.
Courses for New and Existing Mentors. A number of Foundation and Level One Coaching Courses will take place over the coming weeks for new and existing team mentors.
The Foundation Courses will run on 15th /16th February and 8th/9th March and will include the relevant Child Protection element.
The Level One Course has been fixed for 8th/9th/10th February as well as 22nd/23/24th February.
New and existing mentors should note that Garda Vetting and the completion of the Foundation Course is the minimum requirement if you wish to work with a juvenile team in the club.
