Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 7^th February:

Poker: Emyvale GAA Club are holding a Texas Hold’em poker classic this Saturday the 9th February in the Scarna Inn beginning at 8:00. All interested players welcome. Cost of entry and any subsequent re-buys/top-ups etc. €30 / €10

Awards/ Launch Night: On Friday the 15^th the club will hold our annual awards night in the Scarna Inn. In addition this year we will be launching our new fundraising effort which is the 2000 to1 Emyvale GAA Scratch Card.

Mc Rory Cup Q Final: Between Omagh CBS V St Colman’s Newry will be held in Tully this Saturday 9^th Feb 12 Noon.

Coaching Course: Foundation level Course (15^th 16^th Feb) and Level One Course (8^th 9^th 10^th Feb or 22^nd 23^rd 24^th Feb) These coaching courses are run by monaghan GAA. If anyone is interested contact Patrick Mc Carron on 0860675516

St. Macartan’s College Gala Ball: In 2013 St. Macartan’s College are celebrating 100 years of Gaelic Games in the college. To mark this milestone the college is inviting all past pupils to join them at a special Centenary Gala Ball   on Saturday February 16^th in the Hillgrove Hotel for a reunion of past pupils and teachers in what promises to be a night to be remembered. Within our club there are many past pupils and this is a great opportunity  for them to support their ‘alma mater’. All proceeds will go to the redevelopment of the ‘’bottom pitch’’. Mouth guards: From January 1st 2013 it will be mandatory for all players up to and including minor to use a mouth guard for training sessions and all matches. The mandatory use of mouth guards at Under 21 and Adult level will commence from January 1st, 2014.
