Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 28th February:
Registration: Club registration for 2013 is now due for all members. Registration will cost €25 per member. Payment can be made to club registrar Anthony Mc Carron. Players please note that they must pay before the first game of the year which is this coming Sunday. Money will be collected at training on Friday night.
Scor: Congratulations to our Ceili Dancers, Set Dancers, Ballad Group, Soloist Edel Mc Mahon and Laura Treanor in the Recitation on their outstanding performances at the County Scor Final in Clontibret last Friday night. They now represent Emyvale & Monaghan in the Ulster Semi Final in Threemilehouse this Saturday at 7pm. Congratulations also to Colm Kirke(son of Mary,nee Mc Quaid,Hillside) who won the All Ireland Scor Na nOg Title in the Recitation on Saturday last.
Awards Night/ Launch Night: Our Annual awards night was held on Saturday night last in the Scarna inn. Senior Player of the year 2012 was Gregory Devlin, B Player of the year 2012 was Michael Flood and C player of the year 2012 was Brendan Askin. The U21 player of the year was Darren Mc Kernan and last but not least minor player of the year was Ryan mc Anespie. Congratulations to the lads.

Scratch Card Launch: The Club has launched our 2000 to 1 club fundraiser. These scratch cards will cost anything between €0.01 cent to €20.00 and will be on sale from all club members until Sunday the 31st of March. The club are encouraging all members to make a big effort to help make this project a success. We will hold a draw night on the 31st March of all scratch cards with the following prizes 1st €2000, 2nd €1000, 3rd €500, and 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th getting €100 each. There will be Live Music and Food on the night.
45 Card Drive: The final of the ongoing 45 card drive will be held on the weekend of the 23rd March.
Minor Manager: We are inviting proposals from club members for the position on minor manager for the 2013 season. Please contact John Finn on 0861727544.
Field Signs: The club would like to hear from anybody willing to sponsor a field sign for 2013. Please contact Anthony Mc Carron on 0877972118.
Juveniles: Presentation night takes place on Friday night the 1st of March in the Oakland centre Glaslough at 8.30pm sharp. Crossmaglen and Armagh star forward JAMIE CLARKE will present the medals. It should be a great night.
Nursery Programme: The Nursery programme continues every Sat. in The leisure centre at the usual time.
U12/U14: Training starts at 7pm sharp in Tully on Monday and Wednesday nights from this week. All new players welcome.
U/16: Training every Monday and Wednesday night at 8.00pm in Tully.

The U21 Shamrock Cup Final: is being held in Tully on Wednesday the 6th of march
Bingo: Tonight Thursday in the Emyvale Leisure Centre at 9.00pm. Jackpot €2,000 on 45 calls or less and Mini Jackpot € 500 on 49 calls. Cleaning Rota: Sean Mc Meel and Brendan Askin.
