Alpha Lotto – Winning Letters for last Sunday nights lotto in the Skule Inn was L, B, X & D . There was no jackpot winner. The winners of the €20 lucky dips were Sean Cosgrove, c/o Grove Farm, Kathleen Quigley, Roslea, Packie McCarville, Coaghan – MD, Brian Cassidy, Killyconaghan, Mary Logue, c/o Clones Golf Club, Mary Mullen, Mulladuff, Mags Creighan, Roslea. Next Sunday nights draw will be held in Bens  Place.  The Jackpot will be €6,850. Thanks to all for your continued support to what is an essential club income.

Senior Training – Training continues every Wednesday and Friday for all players. Please check with mgt for times.

2013 Club Membership – At this time of year the club has to pay registration fees to the GAA for all teams for all the various competitions and this puts financial pressure on the club at an early stage of the year. Therefore, it is vital that all membership fees of €20 are paid in a timely manner to Enda McCluskey.

Minor Training – Minor training for the amalgamated team Eire Og / Clones will commence shortly, all players will be notified.  Challenge matches are in process of being arranged, by mentors Mickey Tierney Joe Leonard, Seamus Morrow, Jimmy Corr, and Gerry O Gorman.

Committee meeting – There will be a committee meeting in the meeting rooms on Thursday evening, 21st Feb at 8:30pm. All committee members are asked to attend.

No Mouth guard? No Game! –  a reminder to all parents and underage players. It is now compulsory to use a mouth guard in all football games and training sessions from 1st January 2013. Please ensure that you have one in your gear bag at all times. It would be advisable for all adult players to get used to gum shields also as it will be compulsory for them in a years time.

Ladies Football – We held our AGM last Thursday and players of the year in all age categories were announced. Each player got a gift for their effort to the team over the past year. Players Of The Year:
U-12: Caoimhe Smith, U-14: Rebecca Hughes, U-16: Nicole Rooney and U-18: Grainne McCluskey

Congratulations – to Dermot Gleeson on his selection to the County Minor panel for the 2013 season and to Chloe McBride on her selection to county u-14 ladies panel. The club would like to wish both players the best for the season ahead.

Sympathy – Eire Og GAA extends deepest sympathy to the Kelly family, Fermoyle on the passing of Patricia Kelly and to the Connolly family Gortmore on the death of Carmel Sweeney, Roslea sister of Dessie Connolly. Also to the family and friends of the late Aidan Cadden, and to John Tom Corr RIP formerly of Sketra – Uncle of Lambe family Roughill.
