Doohamlet GFC Notes

Championship Winners Presentation Night:  Doohamlet players and supporters have a chance to meet and mingle and celebrate our 2012 Championship success on Saturday 16^th February in Connolly’s.   This informal evening is a move away from the usual Dinner Dance and an open invitation to everyone  to our celebration night of music and dance and congratulate the players on a magnificent 2012 Winners of Intermediate Championship and Ulster semi-finalists.

Senior Championship Draw:  Doohamlet will play Monaghan Harps in the first round of this years Senior Championship.

Juvenile Fundraising Quiz:   Following the success of last years juvenile fundraising Battle of the Clans Quiz a date has been set for this years battle.   All families/clans will meet in Doohamlet hall on Sunday 24^th Feb for a general knowledge quiz and may the best clan win.

A short meeting will be held on Tuesday 8^th Feb in the clubrooms to organise this great family event.  All juvenile coaches/parents or anyone willing to lend a hand please attend this meeting.

Congratulations:   To Colin and Paul and the Monaghan County team who began their league campaign with an impressive victory last weekend against Meath.  John Gilsenan has been keeping a low profile this week. Hope for another performance this weekend v Cavan
