Senior football

The 2013 season of Senior Football starts on Saturday evening next at 7.00 p.m. when we open our campaign in the Reserve football League Division Three with a home fixture against Toome in Scotshouse. Please note that this is a change in day and time. Your support for the coming season will be both welcomed and appreciated.

Gum Shields

Geraldine and Paddy Mc Dermott will be at the club rooms on Friday night 1st March to measure any outstanding player, old or young, who still wishes to get a customised mouthguard.

Juvenile and Youth affairs.

Training started for U14’s, Clones/Currin, in Clones on Monday evening in Largy College. U-14 Div 1, first game is on the 23/03/2013 and Div 5, 9-aside first game is on the 20/04/2013.
U-16’s, Aghabog/Currin training will commence very soon.
U-12’s training to start this Friday at 5:30 to 6:30 at Largy College, Clones, and Sunday morning at 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the Currin football pitch. Don’t forget gumshields!
All juveniles membership fees are due now and should be paid before training commences. Anyone who was unable to attend registration on Saturday evening last can give it to Mary Mc Entee, ASAP.
Boxing news

Well done to Terry Mc Entee, who won the Boys, Mid- Ulster Championship on Sunday last.

Community Centre

A Cake Sale will be held on Sunday 10th March after 10am mass. All support for our Community Centre will be greatly appreciated.

DMK supporters club.

We would like to remind our members that we are currently selling tickets for the DMK supporters club draw. This draw will take place shortly so anyone with monies/tickets should return them to any committee member promptly. Please support.

Administration

It has reached that time of the year again. Membership is due in the coming weeks and can be paid to any committee member.

The club monthly March meeting will be held in our club rooms on Wednesday 5th March at 9.00 p.m.

Sean Mc Caffrey, R.I.P.

The Connons area of our club has suffered another great loss with the sad passing of Sean Mc Caffrey. Currin G.F.C. extend our sympathy to his family. Go ndéana Dia trócaire ar a anam uasal.
