Dan’s Tournament.

Congratulations to our Senior team on their win in the local Killevan, ‘Dan’s’, Tournament last weekend. A semi final win over Killevan set them up for a win over Clones in the final. Team panel on the day were Fergal Connolly, Dara Brady, Conor Mc Caffrey, Sean Brady, Cian North, Ben Clerkin, Enda Mc Caffrey, Paddy Mc Caffrey, Ciaran Mc Caffrey, Niall Mc Entee, Gerard O Callaghan, Shane Brady, Ryan Beattie, Mark Connolly, Philip O Callaghan and Eoin Morrow. A nice start to the year.

Ulster Council Elections

Well done to John Connolly who was elected P.R.O. at the recent Ulster convention. Also our congratulations to Martin Mc Avinney, Ballybay on taking over as President.

Youth Affairs

Currin Juvenile Registration will take place in the Club Rooms on Saturday
23rd February @ 6.00 pm.This is for all children who wish to play football this year. As most of you are aware the new rule for mouth-guard usage in young Gaelic Football players has been in place since the beginning of the year. This rule will be applied to all children up to and including minor grade. It also includes those that participate in Go Games and those who participate in Nursery groups. On Saturday evening, we will have a Dentist and a Dental technican in attandance to measure any child who wishes to get a customised mouth-guard. Our own senior team player, Paddy Mc Dermott, and his sister Dr Geraldine,  are currently offering their services in providing customised mouthguards, at a cost of €40 for a standard mouth-guard and €45 for one with club colours.
