CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES 14.02.13

Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on the 10th February 2013.  Numbers Drawn were: 6-11-15-17.  Lucky Dip Winners: Daniel Brennan, Brendan Kerr, Regina Kerr, Lena Hughes and Des Cumiskey.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Mouthguards

Reminder: Please Note that following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 (for all age grades up to and including minor) and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014.  It is important that all players comply with this new regulation.

IMPORTANT – MEMBERSHIP MUST BE PAID BEFORE 31ST MARCH 2013
In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GAA Club requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2013. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season.  Fees are Adults – €30, Juveniles – €15, Students – €15 and for a family (family = two adults and any children under 18) – €60.
Following a motion passed at the Convention please note that no tickets will be ordered for non-members for any games this year so it of the upmost importance that membership is paid in time.  Anyone wanting to pay their membership can do so by contacting our Club Registrar Seamus Eccles.
Annual Dinner Dance
Our Annual Dinner Dance takes place on Saturday 2nd March 2013 at 8.00 p.m. in The Glencarn Hotel, Castleblayney. Music by “Colorado Fever” and our local legends “Top Link” (Patrick Kerr, Darren McEneaney, Simon Forde, Brendan McElroy and Fergal Mulligan). Presentations on the night to our Senior and Junior Players of the Year and to this year’s Hall of Fame Recipients “Seamus Brady” and “Seamus Flanagan”. Tickets on Sale now €25 from any Committee Member.  This promises to be a great night as always so please keep this date free.

U21 Shamrock Cup

Well done to Monaghan U21s on their win against Antrim last Saturday in the second round of the Shamrock Cup.  They now play Down this Saturday 16th February 2013 in Cloghan at 2.00 p.m.

Juvenile Meeting

There will be a Juvenile Meeting tomorrow night Friday 15th February at 8.00 p.m.  Anyone interested in managing, coaching or helping out with juvenile affairs in the club please come along.                                          .
