Lotto. The numbers drawn on Monday 21st January were 9, 14, 22 and 27. The Jackpot was not won and the following four players claimed fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip……Dolly Sparrow,  Duleek, Tommie Marron, Highfield, Ciaran Duffy, Killygally and Peter Tuite, Magheracloone.

The next draw will be held on Monday 28^th January in the clubrooms and the jackpot will be 7,600 euro.

Gala Dinner Dance.    Friday February 1st is the date for the Gala Dinner Dance. Proceedings will begin in Cabra Castle with a five – course meal followed by the medal presentation to the successful senior teams of 2012. A fund raising auction will also take place on the night and the items to be sold include signed jerseys from the victorious Donegal and Kilkenny teams along with a rugby jersey signed by members of the Irish rugby team. Tickets for auction will include games featuring Manchester United, Liverpool and Celtic as well as a number of tickets for the upcoming Ireland v France rugby international in the Aviva Stadium. The above list gives a flavour of the valuable items that will be available in Cabra Castle that night. Remember that all proceeds will help in the development of the main pitch at the club grounds.

Coaching Courses.  Monaghan Coaching Committee have organised a series of coaching evenings for all club coaches. Attendance is free of charge and all courses will be held at Cloghan. The themes for the remaining sessions are Developing Systems of Play (Wednesday 6^th February) and Games to Develop Football (Wednesday 13^th February). All courses run from 7.30 to 9.00 and further information can be got from the club secretary.

Club Jackets. The club still has a number of jackets of various sizes available for sale to Magheracloone supporters. Contact the chairman or treasurer if you wish to purchase one.

New Regulations. From January 2013 it is compulsory for all players from minor level down to wear mouthguards during all games and training sessions. It is vital that all players and parents are aware of this new regulation which is being implemented nationwide. This regulation will be extended to Under 21 and senior level in 2014.
