Presentation Night

 Club’s Annual Presentation night will take place on Sunday 17th February, with Irelands most famous trophy, The Sam Maguire Cup making an appearance.

Dr. Ward Cup A step back in time.

The final of the 1959 Dr Ward Cup took place on the 1st January 1960. Drumhowan beat Killanny in deplorable conditions in Emmet Park Carrickmacross. The team on duty. Jack McKenna, Jim Joe Hughes, Nicholas Murray, Mickey Kellett, Michael Hoey, Harry Hughes, Jim Cunningham, Noel Ruane, Henry Campbell (capt) Hugh Finnegan, Fred Ruth, Thomas McMahon, Pat Lambe, Tom Quinn, Patsy Ward, Subs Brendan Matthews and Michael Lennon. Referee. Percy McCooey (Donaghmoyne). This win completed the Championship and League double for Drumhowan.
