GAA Coaching and games Development organised a 4 week block of coaching for the 6 Special Needs Groups in the area.  It took place in St Macartans College on the 7^th,14^th,21^stand 28^th of November. The coaches were Marty, Brid, Ann and Paul with some help from Peter O’ Hara, Martina Larmer and some Transition Year students from the College. The Centres who took part were;

• D.A.U Day Activation unit
• S.H Steadfast House
• RC Rehab Care
• N.L.N National Learning Network
• M.T.W Monaghan training Workshop
• E.T.S.N Errigal Truagh Special Needs

There were 52 participants all together, they went through different stations which consisted of Agility, Balance, Co-ordination, Running, Throwing and Striking.  We then played small sided games involving Throwing, Catching, Striking, Running and Kicking. Everyone enjoyed the activities and were presented with posters and Certificates on the last day. We hope to work with this group again in the New Year.
