Lotto . The Lotto draw for the week ending 29th October   saw the following numbers being drawn….. 7, 8, 15 and 16. The jackpot was not won and four players won fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip. The winners were Niamh Duffy, Lisnacarnan, Jimmy Marron, Corduff, Karen Byrne, Lisatillister and Liz Cunningham, Latton.

The numbers drawn for the week ending 5^th November were 3, 4, 13 and 26. The jackpot was not won and the following players won fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip….Philip Shannon, Shercock, Peter McEntegart, Carrickmacross, Anne and Phil Lambe, Carrickmacross and Edward McBreen.

The Jackpot will be €6,600 next week.

Senior Team.   Magheracloone claimed the Ward Cup for the Senior Football league with a comprehensive victory over County champions, Ballybay, in Inniskeen. The team was never behind throughout the game and pulled away in the second half to bring the silverware to the parish. A mixed season for the senior team ended on a high note and both team and management will head into 2013 in a confident frame of mind.

Team Management.  The decision of the club executive in January to change the management structure for the senior team has been vindicated by recent results. For 2012 the club decided to seek a management team from within.

After an interview and selection process, Pauric Kelly, Francis Jones and Bernard Freeman were appointed to guide the fortunes of the senior team for the year. The panel of players responded enthusiastically to this management team throughout the season, a season which culminated in a league final victory.

Perhaps this format is the way to go in the future.

Club Merchandise. A number of Regatta jackets with the club crest etc. are for sale in the club. These jackets are available through the chairman and would make an excellent Christmas present for any Magheracloone supporter.

Monthly Meeting.  Themonthly meeting for November will be held in the clubrooms on Tuesday next 13^th at 8.30 p.m. All members are welcome to attend.

A.G.M.     The Annual General Meeting for 2012 will be held in the Community Centre on Friday December 7^th at 7.30 p.m. Notice of the meeting and nomination forms will be with members by the week-end and should be returned by 18^th November. Members are reminded that they should ask the person concerned before nominating him/her for a position within the club. Furthermore the person nominated must be in attendance at the meeting on 7^th December.

A number of vacancies within the club structure will need to be filled for 2013 so now is the opportunity for club members to put their hand up and express their willingness to play their part in the development of the club for future years.

Ladies Club.  Congratulations to the Ladies team on reaching the Ulster final. All in the club share in your disappointment in not progressing to the All Ireland stages.
