Cruinniú Cinn Bhliana/A.G.M

Tá ár gCruinniú Cinn Bhliana ann de Domhnaigh 25ú Samhain ag 5.30in i tseomraí an chlub. Our club A.G.M. is on Sunday the 25^th November at 5.30pm in the Clubrooms. This is an important opportunity to reflect on all aspects of the club in 2012 and as such all members are requested to attend.

The best of luck to all our young competitors, who will represent our club in the Scor na nÓg competition tomorrow Friday November 16th in Tullycorbett. Earraí an Chlub/Merchandise Christmas Club

Caith dathanna ár gClub! On Sat. 17th Nov. club merchandise will be available to view and fit at the club rooms from 2pm to 4pm. This will be the final day to put in orders for Christmas. In fact the next club order will not be until May 2013. Items available are hoodies, fleece lined jackets, polo shirts,woolen hats, tee shirts, drawstring bags and kit bags. Faoi 12/Under 12s’

Our Under 12 training has ended for this year. The mentors would like to thank all the boys and girls for their commitment this year and we hope to see you all back on the Astro Turf early in the New Year getting prepared for next season. We would encourage any of you who can, to keep active with winter sports like basketball etc. The Currin/Killeevan/Aghabog Community Games basketball teams are now preparing for competition in the Acorn Centre on Friday nights and are actively seeking new players, so why not go along. Well done to our five young club players who were boxing on The Old School Boxing Club tournament in The Skule Inn Smithborough on Saturday night. Three good wins for the McKenna brothers Gary, Stevie and Aaron in their contests and battling performances from Brendan Mc Donnell and Brendan Reilly in their “no decision” exhibition bouts.
