DOOHAMLET NOTES

Ulster Club Semi Final: 

Doohamlet make the long journey to Brewster Park Enniskillen on Sunday next as we face Tyrone champions Cookstown Fr. Rocks in this Ulster Club Intermediate semi final decider.

Make no mistake this is our biggest challenge of 2012. Cookstown were crowned All Ireland champions as recently as 2009 and have a number of County players at their disposal most notably Owen Mulligan and Ryan Pickering. They have already secured a league and championship double and easily disposed of Armagh champions Killeavy in the quarter final. With these impressive credentials they are strong favourites to go all the way in this competition.

However this is a challenge that Doohamlet will relish.

 All the hard work on the training field is complete and we have an abundance of star players in our own dressing room who will demand nothing short of 100% from every player who takes the field on Sunday next.

This is our seventh championship game this season and we hope to maintain our championship run and if we can play to our potential and hopefully get that little luck who knows where it will end.

No doubt Doohamlet supporters will be out in force on Sunday and each and every one will  wish the Players, Management and Backroom team every success on what should be a memorable day.

Come Dine With Me

This event takes place on Saturday 24^th November and all our Hosts are now in place to bring their culinary skills to the table and host what should be a memorable evening and raise much needed funds.

Based on the popular TV show Hosts will invite their guests to their homes and treat them to a meal. It is proposed that meals will served around 7pm and then everyone is invited to Connollys Bar and Lounge around 10pm where each and every guest can share their experience and enjoy a night of song and dance.
