Mass for deceased members will take place on Saturday, 12^th January at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s.

The Late Brendan Duffy

The recent death of Brendan Duffy formerly of Cornabrandy in New York brings to mind a long-standing connection between our club and the Duffy family. In the 1950s, in even poorer times, his uncle James Duffy from Lisaginny was one of the Clontibret men in New York who organised the dispatch of a set of saffron jerseys and distinctive green togs to the O’Neill’s team back home . These were worn with distinction in many of the great victories of that period. Sympathy is extended to all Brendan’s relatives
