Maguire International Minor Football Championship, Div 3 Final. Cuchulainns 2-8, Corduff 2-8. Cuchulainns, (Aughnamullen/ Toome amalgam) staged a remarkable recovery when they came back from an eight point deficit, to snatch a dramatic draw with a stunning Sean McMahon goal, in extra time in Oram on Saturday 6th October last. There were outstanding performances from the Toome contingent, namely Aaron Kelly (1-2), Darragh McKenna (0-4), and Sean McMahon (1-1). Sean Conlon, Aughnamullen, contributed the other Cuchulainn point. Mark Connolly and Pete Donaghy were also part of the panel. Anthony Cunningham was also apart of the panel but came off injured in the first half.
The Match will be re-played on Sunday Oct 21st at 2.30pm in Oram.
