Sunday is Monaghan club football’s big day of the year, with the Gormley uPVC Senior Football Championship Final taking place between Ballybay and Clontibret at 4pm, preceded by the Maguire Transport Minor Football Championship Division One Final between Castleblayney and Monaghan Harps at 2pm.

The admission prices for Sunday’s double-header are as follows:

Adults: €15

Senior citizens and Students with Valid ID: €5

U-16s: Free    Full Price Paid Without Valid ID.

Monaghan GAA are running initiatives to appeal to both young and old in Clones on Sunday, with a family fun zone and a memory zone from 1.30 pm to 3.30pm. The family zone offers free face-painting as well as flags in the colours of all four of Sunday’s competing clubs, while the memory zone gives individuals and families the chance to have their photo taken with the Mick Duffy Cup.
