The final of the Primary School 3rd class skills competition took place in Inniskeen on Saturday 19th October during the Cumann Na mBunscol finals day . The 8 finalists were;

•        Cian Hughes from Latton NS
•        Leo Maloney from Annyalla NS
•        Killian Carragher from Annyalla NS
•        Thomas Mc Mahon from Broomfield NS
•        Andrew Mc Elroy from Gaelscoil Rois
•        Micheal Hamill from Corracrin NS
•        Aaron Carey from Scoil Mhuire Clontibret
•        Cian Brennan from Gaelscoil Ultain

The final was very exciting with 5  players finishing level on 50 points each. Time then came into play and Micheal Hamill from Corracrin NS was the winner with the quickest time overall.

All players received prizes, kindly sponsored by the county board.

We would like to thank all the schools that took part in the competition, overall we had 15 schools with 30 players taking part. We would like to thank Gaelscoil Ultain and Carrickmacross BNS for the use of their facilities for the semi-finals and to Inniskeen and Cumann Na mBunscol for hosting the final.
