Senior Football.

Last Saturday we played Truagh in what turned out to be a surreal senior league fixture in Scotshouse. What was to be a make or break game for both clubs became meaningless as the results in other games conspired to condemn both teams to relegation. At half time Currin led by one point having started brightly and should have been further ahead having missed a couple of goal chances. In the second half, a freshening breeze aided Truagh and they kicked some excellent long range points to run out winners in what ended up as a disappointing evening for both teams.

We play Clontibret on Saturday evening next in Scotshouse. This is our last official game of the year and hopefully a big crowd will turn out to show their appreciation for the marvellous effort that this team has made throughout the year. They gave us a most memorable year in the long and proud history of this small club. Note the early throw in time of 4.30 p.m..

Juvenile and Youth.

On Saturday morning last our training for the younger players concluded for the time being. A big congratulations and thank you to the mentors and parents who have done a marvellous job throughout the year.
