Lotto – There was no jackpot winner of the lotto draw this week which took place on Monday night 01.10.12 in The Conabury Inn. The four lucky dips winners of €50 each were Francis Moore, Cairde, Jake O’Connor, Martin Farnan, Lake View, and Eamon Bracken, C/o Old Coach Inn. The numbers drawn were 01, 04, 07, 24. Next weeks’ draw will place in Corrigan’s Kitchen on Monday 08/10/12. Also this Saturday morning our monthly draw for September will take place with Sarah Mackin in the Glencarn Shopping centre, the prize is a generous hamper. Thanks to everyone for your continued support and good luck in next week’s draw.
Seniors – The seniors have kept themselves in line for a league semi-final slot as they recorded 1-13 to 0-14 win over Scotstown on Saturday last. It was very much the ‘late late’ show as having trailed for most of the hour a Dermot Malone penalty in injury time gave us the victory. This Saturday we travel to Latton for the final league game knowing that a win should be enough to reach the semi-finals. Throw in on Saturday is 4PM.
Junior B’s – The B’s will know their semi-final opponents this week after the Clontibret and Latton play off. Should Latton win the semi-final will be on Sat 13th Oct, should Clontibret win the game won’t take place till after the county final.
Minors – Preparations are continuing for the county final on Sunday week. The game will be the curtain raiser for the SFC final and we would ask all Faughs supporters to come along and support on the day.
Well Done – Congratulations to our very own Under 11’s team who won their blitz in Emyvale last Sunday. See Castleblayney News for more details.
Operation TransFAUGHSmation – OPTFM 2012 is now into its fourth week and everyone is really getting into the spirit of things. Last Friday night saw amazing turnouts for both Yoga classes.
