Lotto – There was no jackpot winner of the lotto draw this week which took place on Monday night 24.9.12 in Dignam’s Bar. The four lucky dips winners of €50 each were Cormac Conlon, C/O Mark Conlon, Philip Murphy, Doohmalet, Robert Heavin, Carna and Phil McGarry, Cornaror. The numbers drawn were 02, 09, 13, 25. Next weeks’ draw will place in the Conabury Inn on Monday 01/10/12. Thanks to everyone for your continued support and good luck in next week’s draw.

Seniors – The seniors suffered a disappointing 1-15 to 0-11 reverse to Monaghan Harps in Oram last Saturday evening. An early Harps goal provided them with the momentum they needed as playing with the elements they moved out to a 6 point HT lead. The Faughs got the first two points of the 2nd half to briefly threaten a revival but this soon fizzled out and Harps ran out comfortable winners. This Saturday sees the penultimate game of the league season, a home fixture with Scotstown. Throw-in is at 5PM in Oram.

Minors – The minor final has been confirmed as the curtain-raiser for the SFC Final in Clones on Sunday 14th October. More details in the coming weeks.

Well Done – Well done to Castleblayney hurlers who duly completed a league and championship double on Sunday last.
