Castleblayney finished top of the Silver Hill Foods Senior Hurling League after they eased past Inniskeen on Thursday, while Clontibret beat Carrickmacross in what was effectively a third-place play-off and Monaghan Harps finally got their first win of the competition at the expense of Truagh.

Killanny won the Gerry’s Prepared Veg. Under-16 Football League Division One title for the first time with a convincing win over Scotstown on Thursday, while Carrickmacross battled past Truagh to win the Division Two title. The Division Three honours went to Ballybay and Drumhowan amalgamation St. Patrick’s, who had four points to spare against Cremartin, while Éire Óg edged out Killeevan in an exciting Division Four final.
